In addition to the new skills, Path of Diablo has an end-game "mapping" system similar to the end game in Path of Exile. The "Path of" connection comes in the form of some new additions, mostly new skills, that offer interesting new ways to play the game, borrowed from and inspired by Path of Exile. The last reset saw the most exponential growth we have experienced yet to the point that the login servers basically caught fire and died xD but don't worry We are expecting even more players this time, so it will be a really great time!įor those that are unfamiliar with Path of Diablo, it is a private-server "mod" for Diablo II: Lord of Destruction that seeks to introduce a lot of quality of life changes, as well as re-balance a lot of skills and items in order to make more potential builds "viable", rather than just the same old stuff you always saw on Bnet. The patch notes and all of that will be available closer to the release obviously, but there have been some "leaked" spoilers from Greendude, which you can see on the Patreon page. The ladder will be resetting on October 6th, along with the launch of Patch Edenite.

The Token of Absolution is created in the Horadric Cube by cubing together four different Essences that drop infrequently from the act bosses in Hell difficulty. This works in the same way as the reward from the Den of Evil quest, but allows a character infinite respecs, provided that they are willing to gather the reagents each time they desire a respec. Added in Patch 1.13, the Token of Absolution is a consumable item that grants the character one stat/skill reset.
